Cindy I would like to thank you for your blogs on inclusion. I have enjoyed reading your blogs about inclusion. The fact that you discussed inclusion of in both preschool and day care setting is great. Inclusion can be seen as a good thing for the child and also as a challenge for the teacher. Challenges can end in success such as the example of the little boy who speech improved by getting the necessary services. Inclusion is not in all early childhood programs but in most form my own experience and by posting blogs about their success or even by the challenges we experience we are able to improve on the way we run these kind of classroom and or continue with what ends in a successful outcome. Thanks for supporting this topic its one that needs to be discussed as even children who are not specifically labeled special needs children may indeed need some extra services and it’s nice to know that it can be done in day care as well as Pre-k Program.
